Special programmes Sauce Programme for quickly preparing sauces. Used without the lid on. Slow cook Programme for gentle thermal treatment of meat, poultry, fish and vegetables. Fry Programme for preparing food fried in oil. Used without the lid on.
Steam Programme for gentle thermal treatment of food in steam. Used with the steamer basket inserted.
Preserving Programme for the preservation of food.
Cake Programme for easily and quickly preparing cakes.
Yogurt Programme for pasteurising milk and preparing homemade yogurt. Used with the operating valve control set in the position for releasing steam (Venting) .
PROGRAMME SELECTION Select programme by pressing the programme button corresponding to the food being prepared.
Flashing on the display (for about 10 seconds) will be the time of the Cooking cycle preset by the programme correspond ing to the food inserted. During these approx. 10 seconds, you can change the Cooking cycle time, Cooking intensity (Less/Normal/More) and Operating pressure (Low/High) or set a delayed start, see above. CHANGING THE COOKING CYCLE TIME After selecting the programme, you can use the Time button to adjust the Cooking cycle time, see Overview of pressure programmes and Overview of special programmes at the end of this manual. Notice: In the Rice programme, you cannot change the Cooking cycle time; it can only by changed by changing the Cooking intensity setting (Less/Normal/More) . CHANGING COOKING INTENSITY (LESS/NORMAL/MORE) If needed, after selecting a programme, repeatedly press the programme button until the display shows the cooking intensity required by you: Less , Normal , More , see table Overview of pressure programmes in the closing part of the manual. Notice: A change in cooking intensity will have an effect on the Cooking cycle time, operating temperature, and, if appropriate, operating pressure.
