Air fryer with steam function PRESIDENT - instructions

PREPARATION FOR COOKING Take out the water reservoir from the air fryer and unscrew the valve (3). Fill the reservoir with tap water to approximately 1 cm below the rim (4). Screw the valve back on, tighten, and place the reservoir with water into the air fryer. Notice: Fill the reservoir with water always before running the Steam Fry programme, including the combined Poultry programme, and always before using the Self-Clean function. When cooking is finished, remove and empty the reservoir, return it to the appliance, and start the Draining Water function. Notice: The appliance may smell slightly during first use as a result of the heating elements being heated for the first time. This is normal and will not occur in further use. FILLING THE COOKING POT Place a suitable amount of ingredients into the cooking pot, either portioned to the desired size or as whole items of appropriate size (for example, a whole chicken in the Poultry programme). Notice: Do not overfill the cooking pot – ensure the top of the food stays below the upper rim of the non-stick cooking pot (5). Always prepare food in the cooking pot with the rack inserted, except when using the Cakes and Poultry programmes. For the Cakes programme, use a suitable heat-resistant pan placed in the cooking pot without the rack (6). For the Poultry programme, place a whole chicken (or similar food) directly on the bottom of the cooking pot without the rack. Notice: For the Cakes programme, place baking paper on the bottom of the cooking pot to protect it when using a metal baking pan. Useful hint: Depending on the type of food being prepared, we recommend using Air fryer parchment paper square DELÍCIA 23 × 23 cm, 50 pcs (code 630754). Before using the Air Fry programmes (except for the Cakes programme) and when using the Poultry combined programme, always apply onto the food a thin layer of cooking oil intended for frying/deep frying. Do not brush food with oil when using the other programmes and functions – the Food Warming and Drying & Dough Rising Air Fry programmes and the Steam Fry programmes. Useful hint: We recommend using the spray Oil for air fryers DELÍCIA 250 ml (code 630683) as an ideal solution for applying oil to food quickly, easily, and evenly. APPLICATION Starting the Air Fryer Place the air fryer on a suitable waterproof pad on a flat surface, away from kitchen textiles or other items, and plug the cord into a 230 V socket. The air fryer will start in standby mode, and the Start button will flash on the control panel.

Touch the Start button to display the main menu for Mode Selection (Air Fry or Steam Fry). Notice: Before first use, clean the system by running the Self-Clean function (see below). Cooking Mode Selection Depending on the type of food being prepared (see the Recipes section), touch the Air Fry

display the menu for Programme/Function Selection in the selected mode. Programme/Function Selection Touch the button for the desired programme or function. The pre-set temperature in °C will be displayed (except for the Draining Water function) and the pre-set cooking time in hours and minutes.
