Pressure cooker Element

NEVER APPLY INAPPROPRIATE FORCE WHEN CLOSING THE PRESSURE COOKER. Cooking in the pressure cooker

ALWAYS USE A HOTPLATE OR BURNER OF APPROPRIATE SIZE–THE DIAMETER OF THE HOTPLATE OR FLAME MUST BE THE SAME OR SMALLER THAN THE DIAMETER OF THE BOTTOM OF THE PRESSURE COOKER; FLAME MUST NEVER EXPAND OVER THE PERIMETER OF THE BOTTOM. USE A DISPENSER NET OR HOTPLATE WHEN COOKING ON GAS. 1. Place the correctly filled and closed pressure cooker onto heat set to the highest output. 2. The lock against accidental opening will slip upwards after a short while. This means that pressure has built up inside and the pressure cooker is now secured against accidental opening. 3. Steam will begin to escape from the openings above the operating valve after a while, which means that operating pressure has built up inside the pressure cooker (8 ) . Now reduce the heat output of the stove so that only a small amount of steam escapes from the pressure cooker. NOTICE If a large amount of steam escapes from the pressure cooker at the beginning of the cooking process, the pressure cooker has not been closed correctly. Remove the pressure cooker from heat and check whether it is closed well. Incorrect closing is usually due to the following: a) Incorrectly set lid – repeat the closing procedure. b) Incorrectly inserted silicone operating valve – check the operating valve and set it into the lid of the pressure cooker correctly. c) Incorrectly set silicone seal in the rim of the lid – set the silicone seal so that it is evenly aligned with the inner rim of the lid. d) Damaged silicone seal of the lid – replace it with a new seal. Ending the cooking process, releasing steam and opening of the pressure cooker ALWAYS RELEASE STEAM ONLY AFTER REMOVING THE PRESSURE COOKER FROM HEAT. 1. After the time required for cooking has elapsed, remove the pressure cooker from heat even if the stove has already been switched off. 2. Set the pressure cooker aside for several minutes to allow the temperature and pressure inside to drop and the lock against accidental opening to slip down. 3. If you wish to accelerate the drop in pressure inside the pressure cooker, move the button for releasing steam / opening the pressure cooker a little forward and hold it in this position until all steam has escaped from the pressure cooker and the lock against accidental opening has spontaneously slipped down into the handle (9) . 4. The pressure cooker can be safely opened after the lock against accidental opening has slipped down.
