MANUAL TEMPERATURE AND HEATING TIME SETTING You can manually adjust the default temperature in the Stewing/Cooking, Grilling/Frying, Slow Cooking and Sous Vide programmes. You can manually adjust the default cooking time in the Stewing/Cooking, Grilling/Frying, Slow Cooking, Steaming, Sous Vide and Keep Warm programmes. After selecting the programme, adjust the temperature using the arrows at the TEMP button and the cooking time using the arrows at the TIME button. Useful hint: You can adjust the set temperature and cooking time either by repeatedly touching the arrows in steps or by touching and holding them continuously. Both parameter settings can be changed at any time between the start and end of the programme. DISPLAYING THE TEMPERATURE °C/°F If you want the appliance to display temperature in degrees Fahrenheit instead of Celsius, touch the SET button for approximately three seconds at any time after selecting the programme (the appliance will remember the selected temperature unit the next time it is switched on). Repeat the same procedure to restore temperature measurement and display in degrees Celsius. ENDING THE PROGRAMME / SWITCHING OFF THE APPLIANCE Heating will switch off after the cooking time has elapsed. Three beeps will sound, the display will show (End) , the programme will end automatically, and the appliance will switch to standby mode. If you do not use the appliance for a prolonged period, unplug the power cable from the mains socket. The appliance will switch off. Useful hint: To end heating immediately before the cooking/grilling time has elapsed, touch the Switch On button at any time while the programme is running. The programme will then end. CLEANING Unplug the power cable from the mains socket before cleaning. Allow the cooking pot and grilling plate to cool completely. Then remove them from the appliance unit and clean their interior under running water with detergent. Use a soft sponge or a dish brush with plastic bristles to clean the non-stick surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents, strong chemicals, sharp objects, or similar items. Do not wash the cooking pot, the grilling plate or the temperature probe in the dishwasher. Clean the appliance unit and the temperature probe with a damp cloth and allow them to dry. Do not wash them under running water or in the dishwasher. The metal rack and the glass and stainless steel lid are dishwasher safe. STORAGE Store the appliance with the grilling plate inserted in the appliance unit and the cooking pot, with the rack and lid placed on the grilling plate (9) . Store the temperature probe in the storage compartment located at the rear of the appliance. NOTICE: In case of any malfunction, do not use or repair the appliance yourself.
