Multifunctional cooker / grill PRESIDENT

Sous vide (SOUS VIDE) Programme for cooking food sealed in airtight packaging in a bain-marie at a consistently low temperature over a long cooking time. The programme is especially suitable for gently cooking tender meat (e.g. beef and pork tenderloin, fish fillets, chicken breasts) and vegetables. Sous vide-cooked food preserves its valuable nutrients and remains very juicy and tender. The default temperature is 55 °C and the cooking time is 3 hours. You can manually adjust both preset programmes within the range of 20 to 95 °C / 15 minutes to 99 hours. We recommend manually setting both the temperature and cooking time according to the type of food being cooked. Use the lid during sous vide cooking. NOTICE: Before starting the “Sous Vide” programme, always connect the temperature probe to the connector on the right-hand side of the control panel (see “Temperature Probe Use”). The Sous Vide programme cannot be started without first connecting the temperature probe! NOTICE: Before starting the programme, pour enough water into the multi-cooker to ensure that the food in the airtight packaging is fully submerged. Keeping food warm (KEEP WARM) Programme for maintaining cooked food at serving temperature. If you wish to postpone serving, run the Keep Warm programme. The default temperature is approx. 60 °C (not shown on the display), and the warming time is 1 hour. The temperature cannot be adjusted in this programme, while the warming time can be manually adjusted within the range of 15 minutes to 24 hours. Use the lid when running the KEEP WARM programme. GRILLING PLATE PROGRAMMES Prepare food using the following programmes on the grilling plate: Grilling/Frying (GRILL/FRY) Programme for preparing grilled foods such as steaks, hamburgers, fish, poultry, sausages and vegetables. The default temperature is 210 °C and the heating time is 1 hour. You can manually adjust both preset programmes within the range Programme for maintaining cooked food at serving temperature. The temperature cannot be adjusted in this programme, while the warming time can be manually adjusted within the range of 15 minutes to 24 hours. Use the lid while keeping the food warm. TEMPERATURE PROBE The temperature probe is used for continuously monitoring the temperature inside the cooking pot and during grilling. NOTICE: Always use the temperature probe in the SOUS VIDE programme. The Sous Vide programme cannot be started without first connecting the temperature probe! The needle tip of the probe allows it to be used for monitoring the temperature on the surface of food as well as inside it. This is great for example when grilling steaks or hamburgers to be cooked exactly to the desired doneness (5) . Use of the temperature probe Remove the temperature probe from the storage compartment in the back of the appliance (6) and connect it to the connector in the right part of the touch panel (7) . Insert the needle tip of the probe into the steam opening on the right side of the lid on the cooking pot, ensuring that the probe fits tightly against the lid (8) . To display the current temperature, touch the SET button while the programme is running. The appliance will display the current temperature measured by the probe for about 10 seconds. of 60 to 210 °C / 5 minutes to 2 hours. Use the lid as needed during grilling.
