OPERATING INFORMATION ON THE DISPLAY Lid The lid is set on incorrectly, the pressure cooker is not closed. OFF The appliance is connected to the mains and ready for use, heating switched off. On The Preheating cycle is in progress. Hot The operating temperature has been reached in the Fry programme. uEnt Automatic or manual release of steam is in progress. Auto The Preheating cycle is in progress in the Rice programme. boiL Milk pasteurisation is in progress in the Yogurt programme. Yogt Pasteurisation has finished in the Yogurt programme.

Notice: If some other information is shown on the display, check the explanation in the closing part of the Instructions for use in the “List of error messages” section. BEFORE FIRST USE Unpack the appliance. Remove the lid from the pressure cooker by rotating the lid counter-clockwise (Open) (1) and remove the accessories. Remove the cooking pot, wash it together with the accessories under running water with detergent and dry. Notice: The appliance may smell slightly during first use as a result of the heating elements being heated for the first time. This is normal and will not occur in further use. FILLING THE COOKING POT Place ingredients corresponding to the selected programme into the cooking pot. Always fill the cooking pot up to three quarters of its volume as a maximum (2). With food that tends to froth or swell when heated, such as soup and rice, fill the cooking pot up to one half of the vessel volume as a maximum, and up to one third when cooking legumes. If the food does not contain enough liquids, add to the pot, together with the ingredients, at least 300 to 500 ml water or other suitable liquids such as wine, beer, stock, fruit or vegetable juice. Insert the properly filled cooking pot into the pressure cooker.
