QUICK TROUBLESHOOTING The pressure cooker cannot be closed. The silicone seal is not placed in the lid correctly. Place the silicone seal into the lid correctly.

The lock against accidental opening is lifted in the upper position. Use a suitable object to press the lock into the lid.

The pressure cooker cannot be opened. Pressure in the pressure cooker vessel has not dropped. Wait until the pressure drops spontaneously or release all steam from the pressure cooker manually to remove all pressure.

The lock against accidental opening stays lifted in the upper position. Use a suitable object to press the lock downwards into the lid.

Steam escapes from the area between the lid and the pressure cooker vessel. The silicone seal is not placed in the lid correctly. End the running programme, let the pressure cooker cool down and place the seal into the lid correctly.

The silicone seal is damaged. Contact a TESCOMA service centre; for contact details visit www.tescoma.com.

There are food residues on the silicone seal. End the running programme, let the pressure cooker cool down, remove the seal from the lid, clean and put it back in place.

The lid is not set correctly. Set the lid onto the pressure cooker vessel correctly.

Steam escapes from the opening of the lock against accidental opening for more than 2 minutes. The silicone cover of the valve/lock against accidental opening in the bottom of the lid is clogged/damaged. Remove the silicone cover from the valve, wash both parts using warm water with detergent, dry, place back into the lid and put the silicone cover back in place. If the cover is damaged, contact a TESCOMA Service centre; for contact details visit www.tescoma.com.

Steam is escaping continuously from the operating valve control. The valve is set in the position for releasing steam (Venting) . Set the valve to the position for automatically maintaining operating pressure (Sealing) .

Automatic maintaining of operating pressure (Sealing) and releasing steam (Venting) do not operate. Make sure that the corresponding programme is on and that the function of automatically maintaining operating pressure (Sealing) is not switched off. Press the button for releasing steam (Venting) and start the automatic maintaining of pressure (Sealing) . If the automatic maintaining of operating pressure (Sealing) remains inoperative, contact a TESCOMA Service centre via www.tescoma.com.
