Normal 8 hrs Ingredients: 1 l whole fat milk, 180 g high-quality plain yogurt with a high content of yogurt starter culture
Milk pasteurisation cycle: Place the cooking pot with 1 litre of milk inside into the pressure cooker and set the lid on. Set the pressure control to the position for releasing steam (Venting) . Start the Yogurt programme and set cooking intensity to More . The text boiL will appear on the display and the milk will be heated and pasteurised in the pressure cooker for about 20 minutes. The text Yogt will briefly appear on the display after the pasteurisation has ended and the programme will end. Adding yogurt to pasteurised milk: After the pasteurisation has ended, remove the lid, measure the temperature of the milk and leave it to drop to 40 °C in the cooking pot. Only after the temperature of 40 °C (or lower) has been reached, add high-quality plain yogurt to the pasteurised milk, stir well and set the lid onto the pressure cooker. Yogurt preparation cycle: Start the Yogurt programme to prepare yogurt in the pressure cooker. The programme will end after the set time has elapsed. Place the yogurt into sterilised jars, seal the jars and leave to rest at room temperature until the next day. Then store the homemade yogurt in the refrigerator. Useful hint: If you wish to prepare yogurt with a different consistency, you can end its preparation in the Yogurt programme already after 4 hours.
Notice: The timer on the display in the Yogurt programme is incremental.
