SERVING FOOD Remove the cooked food from the cooking pot using a suitable utensil with a plastic or wooden working part that will not damage the non-stick coating. CLEANING The cooking pot, steaming dish, rice measuring cup, and condensed steam reservoir are dishwasher safe. Avoid using sharp metal objects, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaning agents when washing. Wash the cooking pot only once it has cooled down. After use, remove the disc with sealing (6) from the rice cooker lid, wash it under running water, dry it, and place it back into the lid. If needed, remove the sealing from the disc (7), wash it under running water, and replace it. If the steam removal valve becomes clogged, remove from it the silicone sealing (8). Clean the sealing and the valve openings in the lid, then replace the sealing. Clean the outer stainless steel parts of the appliance with a damp cloth and then dry them. Always ensure the rice cooker is unplugged before cleaning. When needed, empty and clean the condensed steam reservoir, then replace it (9). Notice: Before each use, ensure that the cooking pot area, including the heating surface, is perfectly clean. If needed, clean it with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. STORAGE Store the clean rice cooker with the power cord, measuring cup, and steaming dish placed inside the cooking pot, with the cooking pot inserted into the rice cooker, and keep the lid slightly open. MAINTENANCE If the rice cooker malfunctions after being switched on, check that the power cord is properly plugged in. Do not repair the appliance yourself; instead contact a TESCOMA Service Centre; for contact details, see www.tescoma.com.
