OVERVIEW OF MODES, PROGRAMMES, AND FUNCTIONS Cooking modes The PRESIDENT air fryer with steam function offers two cooking modes. Air Fry Steam Fry, Air & Steam Combination The control buttons for the two cooking modes are grouped into separate sections on the appliance’s touch panel. Air Fry programmes Chips Programme for cooking chips, croquettes, potato wedges, and other similar foods. Grilling Programme for grilling hamburgers, sausages, vegetables, cheese, toasted bread (e.g., bruschetta), pastry-wrapped sausages, and other similar foods. Meat Dishes Programme for cooking cutlets, steaks, poultry portions, marinated meat, and other similar foods. Cakes Programme for baking sponge cakes, tarts, muffins, cake layers, and other similar desserts. The Air Fry programmes cook food using hot air at a pre-set temperature and time. You can manually adjust the temperature and cooking time before starting any Air Fry programme. Notice: The temperature and cooking time may be different in the air fryer than when preparing the same food in a traditional (e.g., convection) oven. The air fryer usually needs a different cooking time and operating temperature to achieve the desired doneness and taste. Therefore, use the pre-set or manually adjusted cooking temperature and time with the PRESIDENT air fryer. Air Fry functions Food Warming Quickly warms food to the desired temperature. Drying & Dough Rising Dries fruit and herbs evenly, and helps dough rise quickly. The Air Fry functions cook food using hot air at a pre-set optimal temperature and time. You can manually adjust the pre-set temperature and time before starting any Air Fry function. Steam Fry, Air & Steam Combination programmes Vegetables Warms and cooks vegetables and similar foods in steam. Fish Cooks fish, seafood, and other similar foods in steam. Poultry (combined programme) Cooks whole poultry (young chicken), poultry rolls, meatloaf, and other similar dishes in the air-and-steam mode. Dumplings Cooks yeast dumplings, including curd cheese (quark) dumplings, filled dumplings, potato dumplings, and other similar foods in steam. The Steam Fry programmes use steam (100 °C) with a pre-set optimal cooking time. The steam temperature cannot be adjusted, but the pre-set cooking time can be adjusted manually. Note: The Poultry programme uses both modes (Air Fry and Steam Fry) simultaneously. You can manually adjust the pre-set temperature and cooking time.
