BEFORE FIRST USE Thoroughly study these Instructions for use before first use. Wash the pressure cooker and all its parts with warm water and detergent and wipe them dry.
BEFORE EACH USE Inspecting the valves Operating valve
Check the openings in the nut of the operating valve on the bottom of the lid of the pressure cooker – they must be clean and not clogged. If clogged, flush them under running water or clean using a suitable object (A). Check whether the nut of the operating valve in the bottom of the lid is tight enough; if not, tighten the nut with your hand (B). After the check, make sure that the pressure regulator IDEALCOOK can be smoothly adjusted to any operating position as well as the position for releasing steam (C). Safety valve Push on the centre of the safety valve in the bottom of the lid – it must spring. Make sure that the entire safety valve moves freely in the lid and the seal of the safety valve is not damaged (D). Pressure indicator Push on the pressure indicator seal in the centre of the nut of the operating valve in the bottom of the lid – it must spring (E).
