Boiled potatoes Place 2 tablespoons of water, 600 g peeled diced potatoes, pinch of caraway seed, 15 g butter and pinch of salt into the vessel. Place the cover on and cook for approx. 12 minutes in a microwave oven set to 700W. Useful hint: Rinse raw peeled potatoes in the pot with the cover on and comfortably strain them through the apertures in the cover. Mashed potatoes Boil potatoes following the above recipe, add butter and milk, put the cover on and boil for one more minute in a microwave oven set to 700W. Mash the potatoes immediately after removing them from the microwave oven and beat into a smooth mash. Mashed potatoes with herbs Prepare boiled potatoes following the first recipe, transfer them into another bowl and cover the bowl to keep the potatoes hot. Place finely chopped onion with a little butter into the vessel, put the cover on and cook in a microwave oven set to 500W for 2 minutes until translucent. Blend the hot potatoes with the sautéed onion, mash, add salt and pepper, drizzle with oil, add garlic, thyme and rosemary to taste and blend well. Potato crisps Cut peeled large raw medium-sized potatoes into approx. 3 mm thick slices, dry them thoroughly with a paper towel (do not brush with oil, butter, etc.), add salt, lay the slices into the stand so as to fill the stand with the potato slices and place the stand into the vessel. Place the cover onto the vessel and cook for approx. 15 minutes in a microwave oven set to 500W.
