Read these Instructions before first use and keep them handy. WARNING – To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or serious injury: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Use the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. The appliance may only be used when both its plates are installed properly.

The temperature of the cooking plates is very highwhen the appliance is in use; follow the instruc- tions for use when using the product. Use the appliance in a well-ventilated area. To ensure suf- ficient air circulation, leave at least 10–15cmof free space on all sides of the grill. Do not place the grill onagas or electric stove, onor into aheatedovenor near suchappliances. Donot allowthegrill to touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other flammablematerials during its use. Do not move the grill while it is plugged in. Allow the product to cool completely before handling it. Donot line thedrip traywithaluminiumfoil or anyothermaterial. Donot useattachments not recom- mended for usewith this product or not soldby themanufacturer of theproduct. Donot submerse the appliance inwater. Do not leave the appliance unattendedwhile in use. The appliance is not intended tobe operatedbymeans of an external timer or separate remote control system. Donot put any stress on the power cordwhere it connects to the product as the power cord could fray andbreak. Keep the product and its power cord away from heated surfaces. Never operate this product if it has a damaged power cord or plug, is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, or exposed to water or other liquids. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product. 3
