Press the KEEP button for about 3 seconds for switching the kettle off manually. Cleaning Mineral sediments contained in water may discolour the kettle inside. Regularly check the stain- less steel filter. Remove the filter from the kettle if it is clogged and clean it under running water or using a fine brush. If needed, clean the kettle and the power base with a moistened cloth and dry. Avoid aggressive chemicals, abrasive cleaning agents, scourers etc. for clean- ing. Notice: Disconnect the power cord from the grid before cleaning and leave the kettle to cool down. Storage and maintenance Wind the power cord into the storage compartment. Set the kettle into the power base for storage. Do not repair the appliance yourself if the kettle, power base or power cable are malfunctioning.
