POTATO DUMPLINGS FILLED WITH SMOKED MEAT Ingredients: 200 g cut smoked pork, 400 g peeled potatoes, about 250 g semi-ground flour, 1 egg, 2 level teaspoons of salt Recipe: Cook the potatoes in their skins, peel them, grate finely, add salt, whisk in the egg, and gradually work in the flour, a spoonful at a time, until the dough has a tough consistency (the actual amount of flour also depends on the type and variety of the potatoes). The prepared dough yields about 16 filled dumplings. Add 0.5 l of water to the cooking pot, insert the steaming dish, and spread half of the prepared dumplings on top, ensuring they do not touch one another. Close the rice cooker, select the Steaming programme, adjust the cooking time to 10 minutes, and start cooking. After cooking, remove the filled dumplings and place them somewhere warm, then prepare the remaining half in the same way. QUARK CAKE Ingredients: 170 g semi-ground flour, 90 g superfine sugar, 80 g butter (plus a small piece for greasing the cooking pot), 1 level teaspoon of baking powder Quark filling: 250 g full-fat quark, 90 g superfine sugar, 160 ml milk, 1 egg, grated lemon peel Recipe: Brush the bottom of the cooking pot with butter, then line it with baking paper. Slice the butter thinly and spread half of the slices over the baking paper in the cooking pot. Mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder, spread half the mixture evenly in the cooking pot, and level it. Pour the thinner quark filling over the mixture in the cooking pot, then sprinkle the remaining dry mixture on top. Spread the remaining thin slices of butter on top of the cake. Close the rice cooker, select the Cakes programme, adjust the cooking time to 60 minutes, and start cooking. After cooking (baking), remove the cooking pot from the rice cooker. Once cooled, turn the cake out onto a prepared mat and peel off the baking paper. POPPY SEED CAKE Ingredients: 100 g ground poppy seeds, 100 g plain flour, 100 g superfine sugar, 100 ml semi-skimmed milk, 50 ml sunflower oil, 40 g vanilla sugar, 1 egg, 1 level teaspoon baking powder, ½ tsp. cinnamon, grated lemon peel, pinch of salt Recipe: Brush the bottom of the cooking pot with butter, then line it with baking paper. Blend all the dry ingredients, including the lemon peel. Add the milk, oil, and egg, and mix everything thoroughly. Pour the batter into the cooking pot lined with baking paper. Close the rice cooker, select the Cakes programme, and start cooking. After cooking (baking), remove the cooking pot from the rice cooker. Once cooled, turn the cake out onto a prepared mat and peel off the baking paper. BEEF BROTH Ingredients: 500 g beef for broth, 1 small marrow bone, 1 carrot, 1 parsley root, 50 g celery, 5 cm piece of leek, 4 allspice berries, 8 whole black peppercorns, bay leaf, water, salt Recipe: Place all the ingredients in the cooking pot and add water up to the 2 l mark. Select the Meat Meals programme, adjust the cooking time to 60 minutes, and start cooking. Strain the broth before serving.
