Chocolate coating Proceed in the same way when melting chocolate coating as when preparing chocolate fondue. Put chunks of dark or light confectionery coating (max. 300 g) into the dish, turn the tempera- ture control to the position and heat the coating while stirring occasionally until it has melted completely. Pouring and decorating Seize the dish by the handle, remove it from the base and pour melted chocolate into moulds or decorate desserts. Useful hint: You can easily prepare homemade chocolate coating using ingredients which are commonly available: melt high-quality plain chocolate (at least 50% cocoa) or high-quality white chocolate together with 100% fat in the dish in the ratio 1:1. MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND STORAGE Always disconnect the heater from power for cleaning; leave the heater to cool before cleaning it! Clean the base of the appliance with moistened cloth and dry it immediately; do not wash it under running water or in dishwasher; protect it against dripping and splashing water. The cap, the chocolate melting dish, the handle and the fondue forks are dishwasher safe. Wash these parts with normal detergents; avoid aggressive chemical substances, scourers, sand, etc. Leave the dish with remnants of chocolate to soak if excessively dirty. You can store the fondue forks in the dish with the cap on. Notice: The metal surface in the top of the base may change colour due to heat – this change does not affect functioning of the product and cannot be claimed!
