A Instructions for use Before first use Wash and dry the new pan, spray with Oil for baking pans DELÍCIA (code 630687) or brush with cooking fat. Brush the pan always before baking as needed. Application Suitable for electric, gas, and convection ovens. Do not heat an empty pan, fill with dough approx. 2 cm below the upper rim. Turn out the cake after baking; if it cannot be turned out when baked, place the pan upside down onto a flat surface, cover with a moistened cloth and remove the pan from the cake after about 10 minutes. Never cut the cake directly in the pan, avoid using utensils with metal ends. Maintenance Leave to cool entirely before washing, wash with normal detergents. Avoid scourers, sharp objects, and abrasive agents for cleaning. Leave an excessively dirty pan to soak in water or water with detergent. Dishwasher safe. Notice: In order to preserve a perfect appearance over time, we recommend regularly washing the pan under running water with some detergent and minimising dishwasher use. 3-year warranty The warranty never covers defects due to improper use incompatible with the Instructions for use and mechanical damage of the non-stick coating – scratches, etc. Recipe Orange-filled cake Ingredients for the cake base: 4 eggs, 220 g granulated sugar, 200 g plain flour, 100 ml cream (33% fat), 80 g melted butter, 2 tablespoons whole poppy seeds, 2 tablespoons grated orange peel, 8 g baking powder, pinch of salt. Ingredients for the filling: 1 egg, 80 g superfine sugar, 40 g icing sugar, 25 g corn starch, 3 large oranges, 100 ml whipped cream (33%), blueberries and mint leaves to garnish Cake base recipe: Grease the pan with butter and sprinkle with flour. Whip the eggs (ideally in a stand mixer), add the sugar after two minutes, and continue whipping for another 3 minutes. Then add the liquid cream (33% fat), whip for a while and blend in the flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt. Finally, fold in the melted butter, orange peel, and poppy seeds. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for approx. 50 minutes in an oven pre-heated to 180 °C. Turn out the cake base from the pan after it has cooled. Useful hint: To grease the pan, you can substitute butter with spray Oil for baking pans DELÍCIA 300 ml (code 630687). Orange filling recipe: Juice one and a half oranges to obtain about 150 ml of strained juice, making sure there are no pulp residues. Add superfine sugar, corn starch, and egg; blend the mixture with an immersion blender, then cook while stirring constantly until it thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature. Whisk the mixture into a smooth paste, then gently fold in the previously prepared whipped cream. Applying the filing and garnishing: Mix the icing sugar with the juice from half an orange until smooth, then spread the mixture over the centre of the cooled cake. Spread an even layer of the cooled orange cream, then garnish the cake with cut orange segments, blueberries, and mint leaves. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for about an hour to cool.
